The New York City Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NYC HANES) was a population based sample of New York City adults collected in 2004. All specimens were tested by hemagglutination inhibition assays for 1918 H1N1, 1957 H2N2, 1968 H3N2, and 2009 H1N1 pandemic influenza viruses
