The work of Taller KEN is proof that strong ethics can go hand in hand with just as strong a sense of fun. With offices in Guatemala and New York, the practice focuses on socially committed projects that embrace local craft traditions but give them refreshing twists. Gregory Melitonov, who co‐founded the firm with Ines Guzman, presents three such ventures in the Guatemalan capital, outlining the research and collaborative processes that have made them happen.
