Abstract
Low-temperature series expansions for the zero-field partition function and order parameter of the three-state Potts model have been extended to u31. Estimates for alpha ' and beta show rather poor convergence but are consistent with the values alpha '=1/3, beta =1/9 which characterise the 'hard hexagons' lattice gas.
