Abstract

The History of Science (HC) is a resource that can help in the teaching and learning process of the discipline of physics. Because this contextualizes topics of the discipline with the lives of students, real situations in their everyday world. This work aims to provide one more didactic option for physics and science teachers, when the subject is the First Law of Thermodynamics, as the study refers to the construction of a didactic sequence (SD) with the use of HC for the First Law of Thermodynamics. The methodology used in the study was qualitative, in which a literature review was built on the academic Google electronic research bank, with a methodological sieve of works published in the last 10 years. The result obtained was the construction of a methodologically defined SD in the theory of the Three Pedagogical Moments of Delizoicov and Angotti (1990), using CH, for the topic of the First Law of Thermodynamics.
