Abstract

<i>Major Problems in Obstetrics and Gynecology</i>is a series of monographs, edited by Emanuel A. Friedman, MD, and published by the WB Saunders Co, designed to explore in-depth specific problems in these related disciplines, and to offer reviews of the most complete and up-to-date information available on topics in the study of human reproduction and of the female reproductive system. Volume 2 in the series is<i>Septic Shock in Obstetrics and Gynecology</i>, by Drs Cavanagh, Rao, and Comas. These investigators wrote this monograph while members of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, St Louis University School of Medicine.
