Abstract
It has been customary to divide the powers of government into three, legislative, executive and judicial. Here will now be discussed the doctrine of separation of powers which has played so prominent a part in the theory and practice of constitution making and particularly influenced the framers of Constitution of United states. We shall consider two different questions in the present paper:1. How far is there separation of powers in different constitutions of the world?2. How far is separation of powers desirable?
