Abstract

This study included the increase of Pseudomonas B-7741 recently diagnosed and fed by methanol in modified M9 medium. Lipids were extracted from biomasses of bacteria by using organic solvents to get a mixture of fatty acids. Fatty acids separated by using thin layer chromatography TLC the study show that the mixture of fatty acids extracted from Pseudomonas B-7741 consists of two fatty acids. They are Palmitic (C16:0) and Palmitooleic (C16:1) acids.
