Sentenced to death: hard lines of the ukrainian humor in life of Ostap Vyshnia

Abstract

The article is a logical continuation of intelligence, which was published in the previous issue of this magazine and told about the childhood and youth of the outstanding Ukrainian humorist Ostap Vishnev. In the studio we are talking about the hard fate of the master, whose Soviet authority was convicted of participation in a mythical pro-Ukrainian organization (union). We collected and analyzed the facts from the author's mature life, his reception of these events and the memories of eyewitnesses, friends, family.
