Abstract

Methods, devices, and instruments for testing one of six priority atmospheric pollutants, namely, ammonia, are reviewed. The modern role of the sensor methods of ammonia inspection is demonstrated. Optic chemical sensors are represented in more detail in connection with their possibilities to operate under explosive- and fire-risk conditions. The wide use of chemical sensors in multipoint automatized and multisensor atmospheric air inspection systems is noted.
