Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain a fault detection scheme based on Parity Space approach of Networked control systems subject to a variable network-induced delay and packet dropout in the controller-to-actuator link. In the proposed scheme, we are focused on sensor faults detection and both the influence of network-induced delay and packet dropout are considered. In this study, we propose a parity relation based residual generator and evaluation that enhance robustness to network-induced delay as well as packet dropout and sensitivity to unknown input and fault. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
