Abstract

This paper presents a distributed fault detection algorithm for wireless sensor networks. Faulty sensor nodes are identified based on the similarity test of neighboring nodes and dissemination of the decision made at each node. By making use of temporal and spatial correlations among neighboring sensor nodes jointly, the proposed algorithm can find sensor faults efficiently. We show how this algorithm works well in Castalia simulation environment.
