Abstract

Lanthanide Luminescence The cover image shows a crystal structure of CaZnOS that permits doping of various lanthanide ions due to the Ca2+ sites in the host lattice. In article number 2000089, Feng Wang and co-workers show that, upon photoexcitation into the host lattice, efficient energy transfer to the lanthanide dopant ions occurs and results in tunable optical emissions spanning the visible and near-infrared spectrum.
