Abstract
The detection of glucose in urine is an important way to monitor glucose in body and also to avoid diseases like Glycosuria which occurs because of the presence of excessive amount of glucose in urine. More than normal amount of glucose in urine can be indication of many underlying problem that otherwise might go unnoticed. This paper presents a structure of prism based surface plasmon resonance sensor which utilizes multi layer of black phosphorous and hexagonal boron nitride. The sensitivity tends to improve from the already existing sensors. The maximum sensitivity achieved for the proposed sensor is 272 °/RIU with quality factor of 30.322 /RIU.
