Abstract

We have experimentally determined the sensitivity correction factors for hydrocarbons in natural gas on different chromatographs under different analysis conditions. We have estimated the relative error in their measurement, which is the systematic component in the overall error in measuring the concentration of a given hydrocarbon. We have shown that in calibration of gas chromatographs designed for analysis of natural gas, we should use binary gas mixtures based on propane.
