Abstract
A new method for the sensitivity analysis of nonuniform coupled transmission lines is presented in this paper. This method is based on Fast Fourier Transform. It transformed the problem of transmission line sensitivity analysis into the solution of the transient response of transmission lines, and the derivatives of transmission matrix with respect to the parameters of circuits. Through the series expansion of the nonuniform transmission matrix, it is easy to get the derivatives of transmission matrix with respect to the parameters of circuits. Through the Thevenin equivalent to the transmission lines with nonlinear loads, we can obtain the transient response of nonuniform coupled transmission lines with nonlinear loads. This method can analyze various kinds of transmission lines or loads without decoupling them, and can avoid complex frequency-time conversion. Examples verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
