Abstract
Abstract A sandwich type electrochemical immunosensor was successfully applied to simultaneous and high-sensitivity detection of two tumor markers. The signal-amplified platform for sensors was assisted by a novel functional polymer brush (poly(acrylonitrile-g-glycidyl methacrylate)) loaded with Au Nanoparticles (AuNPs). In the single detection of prostate specific antigen (PSA) and a-fetoprotein (AFP), the detection limits were about 0.1 pg/mL and 0.3 pg/mL, respectively. In particular, the limit of simultaneous detection was about 2.2 pg/mL for PSA and 1.8 pg/mL for AFP, respectively. Meanwhile, the electrochemical immunosensor exhibited good logarithmically linear relationships in a wide range from 10 pg/mL to 100 ng/mL for both PSA and AFP. In addition, the prepared electrochemical immunosensor was highly sensitive and selective. The results in clinical serum analysis indicated its potential application in clinical monitoring of PSA and AFP detection.
