Abstract

The resolution and the elution of arabinose, rhamnose, xylose, glucose, galactose, fructose, sucrose and galacturonic acid by an High Performance Anion Exchange Chromatography method were studied. The best results were obtained with a two step elution composed of a 25mM NaOH isocratic phase for 20 min followed by a 300mM sodium acetate gradient for 10 min. The reliability, repeatability and sensitivity of these analytical conditions were set.
