Abstract

SENEKA is a large-scale entrepreneurial and research project on co-operation in knowledge management, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education. The project aims not only to improve the management of information and knowledge, but also to increase its usability for innovation processes. A particular focus is on empowering both small and medium-sized enterprises (SME's), and also on supporting regional development. The consortium comprises 23 national and multinational enterprises, and 6 research institutions, representing different areas of production, services and research.
