Abstract
Let R be a ring with identity and S be a unitary left module over R. In this paper, we give the concepts of semismall compressible and semismall retractable modules. Also, we study properties of semismall compressible and semismall retractable modules, Also, we assert that the semismall compressible modules property is inherited by direct summands.
