Abstract

SUMMARY 1 Two cases of intra-abdominal seminomata arising from undescended testis are reported: Case 1.-A left ectopic testicular tumour presenting as a right-sided abdominal tumour simulating an appendix abscess. Case 2.-A right ectopic testicular tumour, presenting with pain in the right iliac fossa. 2 The importance of pre-operative diagnosis of intra-abdominal cryptorchid seminoma is stressed because early removal of the tumour followed by radiotherapy has a good prognosis.
