Abstract
The American Society of Photogrammetry will present a Seminar on Operational Remote Sensing. The seminar is being held at the Nassau Bay Resort Motor Inn, Houston, Texas, February 1–4, 1972, with cooperation from government agencies, education institutions, and private industry. The objectives of the seminar are: to observe currently operating remote sensing systems; to examine the imagery and sensor data produced by these systems when employed; to examine data reduction systems currently in use; to evaluate actual remote sensing capabilities in major areas of application; to permit government, industry, and the educational community to exchange information on their respective remote sensing capabilities, and to establish a benchmark against which future progress in remote sensing can be measured.
