Abstract

In these chapter our aim is to develop some applications of the theory of semi-classical measures (introduced in Chap. 2) to study quantum properties of ergodic classical system and also for some periodical classical systems. We have already seen that there are several connections between semi-classical measures and coherent states. We first consider quantization of classical ergodic systems and the consequence in the quantum world, a part of a domain much studied in the physicist literature under the name “quantum chaos”. We also consider some quantum properties for quantizations of classical systems with periodic classical flow. We shall see that semi-classical measures are well adapted to study quantum systems in the semi-classical regime at large time, much beyond the well known Ehrenfest time.
