Abstract

We demonstrate semi-transparent organic inverted photovoltaic cells integrating a transparent anode based on two different transparent materials poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS Clevios PH1000) and PH1000/Tungsten Oxide (WOx). Transparency of the device employing PH1000/WOx over the visible region is 40%, which is comparable to those without WOx. The performance of the semi-transparent device exhibited the short-circuit current density (Jsc) of 6.72mA/cm2, filling factor (FF) of 55.8% along with 0.65V open-circuit voltage, leading to power conversion efficiency (PCE) of about 2.45%. It is found that the device employing PH1000/WOx exhibited better stability compared to the cells with only PH1000 cathode.
