Abstract
This paper studies semi-conjugacies from the N-type map to the tent map. Under some assumptions, we obtain some necessary conditions for the existence of semi-conjugacies from the N-type map to the tent map using the conjugacy equation. We present the explicit expressions of these four semi-conjugacies, and show that all of them are continuous and nowhere differentiable functions.
