Abstract

In present research, the proposed technique has been focused on explicit derivation of internal forces and moments for reinforced concrete in tension and compres-sion without the need of numerical integration. The appli-cation of different stress strain relations for compressive concrete and the smeared crack approach for tensile con-crete is investigated on the basis of an opportunity to find the explicit solution of nonlinear equations. The approach proposed is found to be effective by numerical examples, and an adequate accuracy of the analysis results in com-parison with the experimental data.
