Abstract
AbstractIntelligent Transportation System (ITS) plays an increasingly important role in modern transportation systems. It is typically abundant in all kinds of information sources such as different types of sensors, monitoring video cameras, station information terminals, etc. This chapter introduces an undergoing effort, the goal of which is to build an integrated intelligent transportation information and service system, to facilitate the integration of traffic data resources and inter-operation of existing ITS systems and services.
