Abstract

The advancements of service oriented computing in geospatial domain have raised several issues regarding service discovery and execution. It is often observed that a service alone often fails to fulfill users' requirement. On the other hand, a sequence of geospatial services together can be used towards satisfying a composite request. Thus a composition methodology of geospatial services needs to be applied for serving user need. Semantics for the services needs to be enriched for automatic composition of geospatial services. This paper proposes an approach for automatic composition of geospatial services based on the service semantics. The approach checks the composability of the services in terms its semantics and incrementally generates a workflow graph for serving the composite request.
