Abstract
For the characteristic of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM )that has no middle transmission links--the load connects to the motor active cell directly, the load resistance, the quality changes and the external disturbances directly influence the performances of the servo system, this paper uses a programme of self-tuning zero phase error tracking control (ZPETC ). The quality of active cell, viscous friction coefficient and load resistance are identified on-line using recursive extended least square (RELS )with amnestic factor. Then ZPETC can self-tune according to the identified parameters. This can make servo system still have good tracking performances when the parameters are changed. A load observer is designed to overcome bad effects of load variation. To ensure the accuracy of load observer, the quality of active cell, viscous friction coefficient and load resistance have been identified are used to update the parameters of the system, so it can improve ability to resistance disturbances of the servo system varied. The simulation results show that the method enhances the fast tracking performance, and has a stronger robustness to parametric variations and disturbances.
