Based on the electronic governor control system of diesel engine, the self-tuning environment of electronic governor parameters is built by using real actuator and rapid control prototype hardware, and the self-tuning scheme of electronic governor parameters is studied. Considering the non-linearity and time-varying characteristics of diesel engine, the self-tuning of electronic governor parameters is realized by using adaptive fuzzy PID control technology and variable universe idea. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively enhance the fault-tolerance in the process of parameter self-tuning by means of fuzzy control. Its stability is superior to the reference results, and it has reliability.
