Abstract

This work deals with two-dimensional flow of viscous compressible gas from a source in an apex of wedge. In case of adiabatic walls and transfer coefficients arbitrarily depending on temperature, the possibility of self-similar solutions is established. New analytical solutions are compared with the previous solutions for a gas with power-law transfer coefficients. Making use of small perturbation method gas flow in a slender wedge is considered analytically.
