Abstract

The short-arc welding process is described using the similarity theory. The dimensionless similarity criteria are determined. The invariance of these criteria is confirmed. Special features of integral self-regulation are discussed. The numerical value of one of the dimensionless similarity criteria is used as the condition of process stability.
