Abstract

This paper reports a self-powered wearable multi-sensing bracelet with flexible thermoelectric power generator (FTEG), which allows, for the first time, simultaneously monitoring of temperature, humidity, and motion of human body, powered by body heat. Experiments indicate that FTEG with an area of 32 cm2 provides an output power of 4.95 mW, the output power density reaches 153 µW/cm2, and the load voltage of FTEG reaches up to 260 mV. The self-powered multi-sensing bracelet can work sustainably at various conditions including human motion and quiescence via a tailor-designed smart power management system.
