Abstract
The current study aimed to reveal the relationship of self-defeat and psychological fragility with psychosomatic disorders among samples of university students in Egypt and the UAE. The study sample consisted of (200) university students in Egypt and the Emirates, and the results revealed a correlation between each of self-defeat and psychological fragility, and between psychosomatic disorders, and also found statistically significant differences between the mean scores of university students on measures of self-defeat and psychological fragility, and psychosomatic disorders according to gender in favor of females, as well as found statistically significant differences between Average scores of university students on measures of self-defeat, psychological fragility, and psychosomatic disorders according to the difference of nationality in favor of the Egyptian nationality.
