Abstract

An improved structure of active voltage dividers combined with a new self-calibrating method leads to dividers with very low gain and phase error. This paper presents the above mentioned system, dealing indetail the structure and self-calibration procedure. It is demonstrated that by using this type of divider the accuracy can be improved which means that the gain error becomes less than 10 ppm. The self-calibrating divider is also compared with the buffered resistive divider in the frequency range 1…100 Hz.
