Abstract

The dynamics of exciton-polariton states in a semiconductor microcavity is studied under pumping of the state corresponding to the lower polariton branch, taking into account single-mode and intermode elastic polariton-polariton interactions. In this case, pumping is carried out by two laser pulses with close frequencies. It is shown that at the initial phase difference equal to theta0=π/2, the regime of quantum self-trapping of exciton-polaritons is observed. Periodic and aperiodic modes of evolution of a system of quasiparticles are obtained. Keywords: exciton-polariton states, quantum self-trapping, periodic and apeiodic regimes.
