Abstract
Commercially available plastic films have been examined, in the spectral range up to 1200 cm−1, for use as a beam splitter in far-infrared Michelson interferometers. The materials reported include polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, polyvinylchloride, polypropylene, cellulose and polyethylene.
