Abstract
Discusses the organization of this regional physics laboratory to serve the affiliated, and associated hospitals; the channel of communications; the charge structure and its achievements and problems. A university centred physics section can definitely play an important role in meeting the needs of modern day radiotherapist in the community hospital. It can definitely update the quality of delivery of radiation therapy and the physicist gains great respect from it. In addition, the concept of sharing of expensive dosimetry equipment and valuable trained personnel becomes a reality.
