Abstract

Icephobic Surfaces for Aerospace Application In article number 2101968, Yuan Yuan, Huiying Xiang, and co-workers design durable icephobic slippery liquid infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) on aerospace aluminum alloy. The SLIPS exhibits low ice adhesion strength even after frosting and excellent self-repairing performance, which can withstand ≈150 icing/deicing cycles and 100 abrasion cycles via 4≈5 times of 1 h self-repair. It is promising in the field of durable icephobic materials for aircrafts.
