Abstract

The observation of living cotton fibers is an important approach for describing, defining and refining some questions in the fields of cell biology, textile industry and agriculture. The goal of this review is to provide some recent examples that highlight the use of live-cell approaches in cotton plant fiber biology and to point to areas that should be productive for future experimentation.
