Abstract

In order to solve the problems in the traditional photometric correction, this paper presented a self-feedback photometric correction approach. The proposed approach first calculated an initial mask, and then updated the photometric correction mask based on the images captured in a feedback process with a camera. It iterated the feedback process until the uniformity of luminance was less than a threshold value. The initial mask computed by the approach had better photometric transition than the traditional blending masks, and the mask-correction rules adopted in the approach can get better color uniformity after several self-feedback steps. The experimental results show that the approach can efficiently solve the problems of photometric correction for multi-projector autostereoscopic systems.
