Self Evaluating Companies’ Contribution to the Rule of Law

Abstract

This article will present a brief overview of some of the most relevant CSR self-assessment tools which help companies behave more responsibly and thus contribute to stronger rule of law. It will further argue that one central self-evaluation tool based on the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises would be a valuable contribution to companies' effort to improve their performance in the CSR fields.
