Abstract
The self-consistent semiclassical approach is extended from spherical nuclei to deformed nuclei. Ground states of several deformed nuclei are determined with this approach. The properties of giant resonances for the deformed nuclei are studied with the help of the above determined ground states in Vlasov framework. The doublepeak splitting of GDR and GQR are evaluated. The results are in good agreement with experiments.
