Self‐Boosting Vaccination Based on Pulsatile Antigen Release from Core–Shell Microparticles (Small 18/2023)

Abstract

Self-Boosting Vaccination In article number 2207892, Xiang Gao, Bo Liu, Jing Gao, and co-workers propose a pulsatile antigen released core-shell microparticle namely LbL/MPs to achieve self-boosting vaccination after single-injection and to simulate multi-injection immunization. LbL/MPs show multiple antigen release characteristics and can effectively induce immune response. The core-shell microstructure supplies the pulsatile release characteristic of the LbL/MPs and provides a new and promising strategy for single-injection vaccine development.
