Abstract

A 30 year old woman in her first pregnancy at 20 weeks had an anomaly scan that demonstrated a 8 cm unilocular, left adnexal cyst with hyperechoic component and acoustic shadowing and minimal free fluid. There were some internal echoes and some solid component. The ORAD Score was 3. She has been referred for further assessment by the medical team. On review, she does not report any abdominal pain and examination demonstrates a gravid uterus with no signs of acute abdomen.
