A 24-year-old woman presents with primary infertility. She has secondary amenorrhoea having stopped the oral combined contraceptive pill for 2 years. Investigation shows a serum FSH 44U/l and LH 47U/l. a) what is the likely diagnosis? b) what percentage of women are affected by this condition? c) what is the place of ovarian biopsy in confirming the diagnosis? d) what other investigations are indicated? e) how might this woman achieve pregnancy?
