Abstract

We report a facile method to modify the surface of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by peptide dendrimers terminated with carboxylic acid (COOH) groups. This conjugate displays a tendency to self-assemble along the path of cationic poly-L-lysine (PLL) supramolecule. The resulting “neckless” superstructure is confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
