Abstract
Abstract A reduction method of aliphatic nitro compounds to oximes using carbon monoxide was developed. When aliphatic nitro compounds were treated with carbon monoxide in the presence of a selenium catalyst, the corresponding oximes were formed in moderate to good yields.
