Abstract

Food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) is a non-IgE mediated food hypersensitivity. In the Mediterranean area, shellfish and fish are the most common foods implicated in adults. The objective of this study was to identify the types of fish most frequently trigger these reactions and to assess tolerance to other species.
