Abstract

The pass band and losses are calculated for a dispersive resonator with a small active medium cross section, and the dependence is established of the selectivity of such a resonator on its fundamental parameters: the angular dispersion, telescope magnification, dimensions and position of the diffraction grating, and diameter of the active region. A discussion is given of the relationship between the pass band and the width of the emission spectrum, and the results of the calculations are compared with the experimental data.
