Abstract

The metal-free heterojunction surface imprinted photocatalyst based on magnetic fly ash (PPy@g-C3N4@MFA surface imprinted photocatalyst, PGM-SIP) was synthesized by microwave polymerization and surface imprinting technique. Additionally, the polypyrrole (PPy) and g-C3N4 can form metal-free heterojunction structure. More importantly, the PGM-SIP can selectivity recognize and degrade tetracycline due to the presence of plenty of three-dimensional imprinted cavities on PGM-SIP, and the selectivity coefficient of PGM-SIP relative to g-C3N4@MFA, PPy@g-C3N4@MFA and non-imprinted photocatalyst was 1.587, 1.756 and 2.580, respectively. Therefore, this work offered an exemplary strategy for selective photodegradation of target antibiotic.
